Chicken Burmese Khaosuey

Chicken Burmese Khaosuey 🍜

🔷 Ingredients:

🔵 Baisan Curry:
➡️ Ginger 1 inch piece
➡️ Garlic 3-4 cloves
➡️ Curry leaves 10-12
➡️ Green chili 2-3
➡️ Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 tsp
➡️ Turmeric powder1 tsp
➡️ Yogurt ¾ Cup
➡️ Coconut milk powder 1 packet (50 gms)
➡️ Gram flour 1 Cup
➡️ Water 3 Cups or as required
➡️ Cooking oil 2 tbs
➡️ Salt 1 & ½ tsp or to taste

🔵 Chicken Curry:
➡️ Cooking oil ¾ Cup
➡️ Onion sliced 2 medium
➡️ Chicken boneless cubes 600 gms
➡️ Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
➡️ Coriander powder) 1 tbs
➡️ Cumin seeds 1 tsp
➡️ Salt 1 tsp or to taste
➡️ Red chili powder  1tsp
➡️ Turmeric powder ½ tsp
➡️ Green chili crushed 1 tbs
➡️ Tomatoes sliced 2 medium
➡️ Yogurt whisked 3 tbs
➡️ Garam masala powder 1 tsp


🔵 Boil Spaghetti:
➡️ Water as required
➡️ Salt 1 tbs
➡️ Spaghetti 450 gms


🔷 For Baisan Curry:
➡️ In grinder,add ginger,garlic,curry leaves,green chilies,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,yogurt,coconut milk powder,gram flour and water,blend until well combined & set aside.
➡️ In pot,add cooking oil,curry leaves and mix.
➡️ Add grinded gram flour mixture and water,mix well & bring it to boil.
➡️ Cover partially and cook on low flame until thickens (45-50 minutes) and keep mixing in between.
➡️ Add salt,mix well & set aside.

🔷 For Chicken Curry:
➡️ In pot,add cooking oil,onion and sauté until translucent.
➡️ Add chicken boneless cubes and mix well until changes color.
➡️ Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
➡️ Add coriander powder,cumin seeds,salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder and mix well for 2 minutes.
➡️Add green chili and tomatoes,mix well and cook until tomatoes are soft (approx. 4-5 minutes).
➡️ Add yogurt and mix well.
➡️ Add garam masala powder and mix well,cover partially and cook on low flame until oil separates (15 minutes) & set aside.


🔷 For Spaghetti:
➡️ In pot,add water,salt and mix,bring it to boil,add spaghetti and boil uncovered for 12-15 minutes the strain & rinse with tap water & set aside.

🔷 Assembling:
➡️ On serving dish,add boiled spaghetti,baisan curry,cooked chicken,fried garlic,fresh coriander,fried onion,red chili crushed,lemon juice, & serve!

🔵 Note: you can take noodles also if spaghetti not available..
