Chicken Shawerma

*Chicken Shawerma:*

Take a drainer, add mixed boneless chicken in it, wash n keep aside.

- take garlic cloves, cream, add salt n grind it to make it a paste. You can keep some aside for using it later while preparing shawerma roll.
- now take chicken in a large bowl/aluminium vessel, apply some cuts on boneless pieces, add the garlic paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala/butter chicken masala, garam masala, little bit of soya sauce and mix it thoroughly with your hands.

Cover the mix and refrigerate it. You can leave it marinated for about a day or more.


*Humus*

- Empty about 200gms of white seasame seeds (white TIL) in a grinder
- add garlic cloves, salt and some cream (Amul cream) in it
- add water and olive oil and grind this mix till it becomes a paste.

Now, take a can of chickpeas(kabuli Chana) which is readily available in market and empty it in this garlic/TIL paste.

- add some olives, pudina leaves, curd, olive oil and squeeze a lemon.
- Grind all this well till it becomes a thick paste and your *Humus* is ready 

*Note:*

- olives jars are available in market. Make sure you buy seedless olives.
- Chickpeas can is also available in market if you want to prepare it quickly and have less time. Else soak chickpeas overnight and boil them next morning to soften them.
- You can use chickpeas stock and vinegar from olives jar to substitute it water. 
- Make sure you do not liquidate it too much while preparing the humus and hence keep adding stock/olive vinegar/ water in small quantities.

Shallow fry your chicken in a large pan and remove them in a thali once it is cooked. 


Chop the chicken in small pieces with some onions, cucumber, tomato. 


*Shawerma roll preparation:*

Now, take pita bread, apply humus and garlic sauce, put lettuce leaves on it, spread the chicken mix and roll it.

You can serve garlic sauce and humus separately if you plan to have Shawerma plate and not rolling it up.
