 HELP IS NOT ALWAYS HELP 

Few days back got an opportunity to interact with kids and also some volunteers who were there to help just like me.

While waiting for the kids we discussed and remembered our school days.

Like apna time ma jem saglu school maj sikhawi deta tha like we had needle work period jema different stitches sikhawta tha.

Same way a ben discussed about her experience ke ae ehna teacher na favourite hata ane ehna teacher je drafting part hato stitching no ae ehne kari aapta tha and at that time she used to feel special.... 

But she said that now she regrets ke kem  ye khud ye na karu as even if she is able to stitch well today that drafting part ma haji bhi she sometimes have doubts and not  much confident.  

Indeed, sometimes, the help that feels like love becomes the reason we can't help ourselves later.

We need to understand the difference between helping and guiding. Help should come in the form of guiding and not helping by doing the work yourself for someone. 

For example, Milad Mubarak na Tahani na cards banawana hata farzando ne on the spot Madrasa ma and all made awesome cards, using their creativity as their saab guided them as to what they can write inside the card like some madeh band and related but otherwise they did everything on their own.... 

Now imagine agar aa same kaam ghare si karwanu hote then many would have asked their Mothers or siblings to do it for them. To be frank I also helped my brother with his projects while he just watched. We all do it.... Right?? 

This ben's experience was like an eye opener for me and I realised how help is not always help and how it can actually destroy someone's confidence. 

The best way to help is to guide , to teach , to allow them to make mistakes, let them be imperfect.... Perfection can be mastered later with practice first let them start to do it on their own.
