Gajar (Carrot) Ka Halwa

Audio Instruction 





Ingredients

  • 6 large grated carrots (gajar)
  • 2-3 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 3/4 cup sugar 
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (elaichi )
  • 1/2 cup mawa
  • 1/4 cup  grated cashew, almond pistachio (kaju badam pista)
How To Make In Gujarati 

  • maximum 15 mins ma gajar nu halwo tayyar thai jaase
  • ek pan lo ane yehma ghee nakho 
  • ghee ne garam karo 
  • pachi yeh ghee ma gajar nakho 
  • ane barabar mix karilo
  • pachi slow flame par 2-3 mins dakkan band karine pakavo 
  • pachi dakan kholo ane milk nakho barabar mix karo  ane again dakkan bandi karine 4-5 mins slow flame par pakavo 
  • pachi dakkan kholo ane yehma sugar add karo barabar mix karo 
  • pachi elaichi powder add karo ane again barabar mix karo 
  • pachi yehma mawa add karo ane barabar mix karo 
  • pachi yehma dry fruite add karo ane again barabar mix karo 
  • halwo tayyar 

How To Make In English 
  • Maximum cooking time 15 mins 
  • take a pan and add ghee in it, heat it for 2-3 mins 
  • then add carrot to it mix well with ghee
  • close the lid and cook for 2-3 mins on slow flame 
  • then open the lid and add milk to it and again mix well
  • close the lid and cook for 4-5 mins on slow flame 
  • open the lid  and add sugar to it mix well
  • then add cardamon powder to it again mix well 
  • then add mawa to it and again mix well 
  • in the end add dry fruits to it and again mix well 
  •  Halwa is ready
