Double Broiler method Is Used in baking cake if you dont have microwave oven.
- first take vessel and add sand / water to it....
water level should be 1/8 or 1/6 to the vessel height - now place a bowl upside down inside the vessel
- the place the bowl containing cake batter in it on the upside down bowl
- make sure the water does not touch the cake batter vessel
- now cover the vessel
- Cook on medium flame
- cooking time on gas against oven is more (approximate it takes 10-15 mins longer cooking the oven)
