Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Ghee
- 1 cup Besan (gram flour)
- 2 tbsp Semolina (rava/sooji)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/4 tsp Cardamon powder (elaichi)
How To Make
Step-1
Take pan add ghee to it ... heat it on low flame, then add gram flour and semolina in it and mix well.....
continuously stir the mixture ...
mixture will go through this process
no lumps-smooth paste and finally golden brown paste will be obtained after approx 25 mins..
continuously keep stirring the mixture
mixture is ready ... keep it aside
Step-2
Take a pan on low flame add sugar in it and then add water in it...
let all the sugar dissolve
then heat the mixture for approx 8-10 mins on low flame.... so that we can get sugar syrup for the barfi
Step-3
Add the Sugar syrup in the gram flour mixture from(step-1)
keep stirring the mixture welll.. so that we could get a thick paste ...
then add cardamon powder in it and again mix well....
our barfi mixture is ready
Next Take a bowl and grease it with oil and pour the barfi mixture in it..... and tap well....sprinkle dry fruits on it...
then allow the mixture to cool for 30 mins
Then remove the barfi from the bowl and cut it into ur desired shapes and sizes
