Mandazi

Mandazi 

Recipe By Sakinabhen Hutaibi 

Mandazi is a traditional East African dish  its also known as African Doughnuts you can eat it with any curry or also with simply  with hot tea
 Ingredients:
3 cups maida
1 tsp hamira 
1/2 tsp cardamon powder ilchi nu bhooko
7 tb spoon sugar
2 tb spoon custard powder
Light Coconut tui for binding the dough 
Oil for Frying

 Recipe
Take  flour sugar elchi powder ,custard powder add yeast mix it in  1 tbl spoon of water  and mix throughly
Add coconut tui to bind the dough knead it properly  put tui gradualy to make a soft dough not sticky one
This step is very important  knead it for around 15 min
Now leave it to rise .
Once it done make small balls  and flatten it on a floured surface and cut into four pcs  
 fry it in a medium flame till u get a nice golden brown color.
