Sharing Kharak recipe that has been used in our family for years:
ReplyDeleteFirst soak Kharak in rose water for atleast 3days. They will blow up nice.slowly de seed them and throw away the water. In a pot add your kharak and pour milk till it covers all Kharak and cook on slow till all milk evaporated and mawa is left.(stir in between) using a spoon remove the Kharak and to you mawa add dry coconut powder (bur) , badam pista powder, little kesar and elaichi powder.You may add powder sugar to your taste and a little milk so that the whole mixture gets combined very well and isn’t too dry.
Now fill in your Kharak and enjoy.
