Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup dried figs (anjeer)
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 cup peeled and powdered alomond (chilele badam nu bhooko)
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp milk powder
- 1/2 tsp cardamon powder (elaichi)
How To Make
- First take a pan and add water to it and boil it
then add figs in it and mix well
then cook for approx 3-5 mins on medium flame or till figs gets soft
then using sieve drain all the water
then using grinder... add figs in it and approx 1/4 cup water to it and grind well
so that it makes a thick paste - then take a pan and add ghee to it
heat the ghee and then add powdered almond in it and mix well and cook for approx 2 mins on medium flame
then add fig paste, sugar, milk powder and 1/2 cup water in it and mix well
continuously stir the mixture
cook the mixture on medium flame for approx 5 mins ... keep stirring the mixture
then add cardanom powder and again mix well
halwa is ready
garnish it with chopped dry fruits
Don't drain the water in the sink, but collect it in a vessel, so that you can use the same water while grinding and lastly while mixing with all the ingredients.
